PRODUCT DETAILS

The Go Power! GP-PSK-200 is Go Power!'s largest portable kit: a 200W folding solar panel with a 30A PWM charge controller, adjustable legs, a heavy-duty carry case and a 12 ft lead with battery clamps and sidewall-port adapters — plug-and-play battery charging for RVs, trailers and camps with nothing to install. It returns about 60Ah a day in summer and 24Ah in winter — enough to run a 12V compressor fridge on an average day, or keep lights, fans, the water pump and slide-outs going for days off-grid on a 200Ah AGM or 100Ah lithium bank. 25-year panel warranty and a North American support team (part of Dometic).

Built to the standard RV manufacturers install

Go Power! has designed mobile power since 1996 and is the solar brand fitted at the factory by Jayco, Forest River, Thor and other leading RV builders. That is why this kit ships with the adapters for the Solar On The Side and Zamp Solar Ready sidewall ports those coaches use, and why its connectors match factory wiring. Part of Dometic.

Set up in a minute

Unfold, swing the legs out, aim at the sun, clip to the battery or plug into the Zamp Solar Ready or Solar On The Side port on the side of the coach. The 12 ft lead lets you park in the shade and put the panel in the sun. The LCD on the 30A controller shows charge current, battery voltage and battery capacity.

Every connection in the case

Battery clamps, quick connectors, ring terminals, an SAE solar plug adapter and an XLR-style plug adapter are all included, so it connects to any 12V battery or factory solar port without extra parts. Fold it up and everything packs into the heavy-duty nylon case.

FEATURES
  • 200W monocrystalline folding panel — 17.6V rated, 11.4A, silver anodized frame with built-in adjustable legs.
  • 30A PWM controller (GP-PWM-30-SB) with LCD: charge current, battery voltage, battery capacity.
  • ≈ 60Ah per day in summer, ≈ 24Ah in winter.
  • 12 ft UV-rated 12/2 lead with battery clamps, quick connectors, ring terminals, SAE and XLR-style plug adapters.
  • Heavy-duty nylon carry case; folds to 39 × 26.4 × 5.6 in.
  • Best paired with 200Ah+ AGM or 100Ah+ lithium.
  • 25-year panel power-output warranty, North American support team (part of Dometic).
WHAT IT RUNS

What 200W of solar puts back each day: about 60Ah into a 12V battery on a sunny spring or summer day and about 24Ah in fall and winter, the same rule our RV solar calculator uses (30Ah and 12Ah per 100W per day). Compare that with what your gear draws:

Typical 12V camping dayDaily draw200W of solar (summer)
Storage: parasitic draws of a parked RV≈ 4Ah/dayCovered daily in summer
Weekend basics: LED lights, vent fan, water pump, phone & laptop charging≈ 25Ah/dayCovered daily in summer
12V compressor fridge alone, 24 h≈ 50Ah/dayCovered daily in summer
Fridge camp: basics + 12V compressor fridge≈ 75Ah/day≈ 80% in summer — add ≈ 50W or run a generator/shore day
Fridge camp + furnace blower (4 h, cold nights)≈ 100Ah/day≈ 60% in summer — add ≈ 150W or run a generator/shore day
Full comfort: fridge, furnace, CPAP, TV through inverter≈ 140Ah/day≈ 43% in summer — add ≈ 300W or run a generator/shore day

Rule of thumb: match panel watts to battery amp-hours (100W per 100Ah) for a bank that recovers from an overnight draw by mid-afternoon. A lithium battery accepts the full charge current; a lead-acid bank should not be discharged below 50%.

FAQ
Can I plug it into my RV's solar port?

Yes. The SAE and XLR-style adapters fit Zamp Solar Ready and Go Power! Solar On The Side sidewall ports. Because this kit has its own controller, check the port: if the coach also has a controller behind it, connect at the battery instead, or confirm the port is a direct battery feed.

What size battery does it suit?

Go Power! recommends 200Ah or more of AGM, or 100Ah or more of lithium. 200W of solar recharges an overnight draw of 50–60Ah by mid-afternoon on a sunny day.

Can I leave it out in the rain?

No. The kit is not waterproof or weatherproof. Don't leave it unattended, plugged in overnight or out in bad weather; fold it into the case when you're done.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Unfold the panel, point it at the sun and connect: directly to the battery with the included clamps, or to a Zamp Solar Ready or Go Power! Solar On The Side port with the included adapter.

PSK-200 or DuraLite 200W?

Both are 200W. The PSK-200 is a rigid folding panel on legs with a 30A controller and LCD. The DuraLite 200W is much lighter and packs smaller, has a lithium-profile controller and can expand to 300W.

Is Go Power! the solar installed in my RV from the factory?

Very likely, if your coach is a Jayco, Forest River, Thor or many other brands. Go Power! has supplied RV manufacturers since 1996, which is why its portable kits ship with the adapters for the sidewall ports those coaches use.
