PRODUCT DETAILS
The Go Power! GP-ISW1500 1500-watt Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter is ideal for large loads, like a microwave or other medium-sized electronics. A strong performer for larger loads that demand a clean, pure source of AC power, the Go Power! GP-ISW1500 can run appliances, and sensitive electronic equipment like TVs, stereos, computers and more. The GP-ISW1500 is a good choice for powering appliances, electronic equipment like TVs, stereos, computers, or as a source of emergency backup power. This product is included in the WEEKENDER ISW Charging System. For a proper install, pair this inverter with an Install Kit and a Remote.
FEATURES
WHAT IT RUNS
Size by the continuous rating and leave headroom for start-up surges. Typical draws: phone/laptop 20–90 W, 32 in TV 50–80 W, CPAP 30–60 W, blender 300–600 W, coffee maker 600–1,000 W, microwave 700–1,200 W (1,000–1,700 W input), hair dryer 1,200–1,800 W. A 1,500 W inverter draws about 69 A from a 24 V battery at full load, so a 100 Ah 24 V lithium bank runs it flat-out for roughly 83 minutes.

FAQ
What can a 1,500-watt inverter run?
Anything whose running watts stay under 1,500 W and whose start-up surge stays under the surge rating. A small microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer on low, power tools, or several electronics at once.
Pure sine wave or modified sine wave?
Pure sine wave is the same clean power as a wall outlet and runs everything — TVs, laptops, CPAPs, induction cooktops, microwaves — quietly and at full efficiency. Modified sine wave is a stepped approximation that is fine for tools, lights and resistive loads but can buzz, run hot or damage sensitive electronics and some chargers. This model is pure sine wave.
Which install kit do I need?
At 24 V this inverter draws about 70 A, so GP-DC-KIT2 (100 A, #4 AWG) is sufficient; KIT3 gives more margin for long runs.
How do I switch it on and off remotely?
Add the ISW Inverter Remote (25 ft cable). It gives you on/off, a battery-voltage and output bar graph and fault indicators where you live, and works with all GP-ISW inverters.
How big a battery do I need?
Figure amp-hours from watt-hours: a 1,500 W load for one hour uses about 65 Ah from a 24 V bank. Lithium can be drawn to near empty; AGM should stop around 50%. Keep the inverter within a few feet of the batteries and use the cable gauge from the install kit guide.
Is this a current model?
This is a previous-generation Go Power! inverter sold at outlet pricing while stock lasts. It carries the full 2-year warranty and North American support. The current series are the SSW (hardwire and outlet) and ASW (built-in transfer switch) inverters.
Is Go Power! the inverter installed in my RV from the factory?
Very likely, if your coach is a Jayco, Forest River, Thor or one of many other brands — Go Power! has supplied RV manufacturers since 1996, so these are the same products and the same support team your dealer uses.
What is the warranty?
Two years against defects in materials and workmanship, backed by Go Power!’s North American support team (part of Dometic).
